Landscape Painting Workshop
Landscape Painting Workshop is a 3-Day in-person painting instructions for adults of all levels. From 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday – Wednesday, August 24-26, 2020. Amazing convenient location in South Laguna, steps away from the picturesque West Beach. Beautiful beach studio of classically trained professional artist. You will learn drawing and acrylic painting fundamentals, blending and detail work and socialize with other artists! Class size is limited to 6 students, must be 16 years or older. Price includes all art supplies.
DESCRIPTION
- Learn basics of Composition, Drawing and Painting techniques.
- Create amazing realistic acrylic animal painting on canvas.
- Express your own style with colors, form and emotion.
- Expand observation skills, imagination & creativity.
This workshop is open to artists of all skill levels interested in improving their ability in realistic drawing and acrylic painting. Generally, we will begin with a drawing focusing on building a stronger foundation for your realistic landscape painting. Do bring any reference photos you’d like to use. For example, Laguna Beach sunset, your favorite travel photo, family farm, popular city view, etc. Students will work from a photograph to create a convincing, lifelike pencil drawing. Subsequently, we’ll start painting in acrylic, learning how to blend layers and add details. We’ll cover key concepts including composition, balance, light & shadow, shapes, values & edges and proper use of acrylic medium.
